Alex Adventure is a 2D platform game developed by Altron and published by Disney Interactive Studios for the Nintendo DS. It is based on the TV show of the same name, and is the first of a two game series.
Queen Vexus has broken into Dr. Blackman's lab, and built some superweapons with which she will destroy Plainville. Help Alex lead his friends and use his perfect combination of Brains, Bolts and Brawn to track down and defeat the evil genius, Queen Vexus, and thus save the citizens of Plainville!
This game follows Alex, as he fights Vexus and her henchmen. Alex can fly, but only for a short period of time. GameSpot cites this as a key problem, as whenever Alex falls into water, he not only dies, but any progress in collecting required trinkets throughout the level is reset to nothing.
The game was a failure critically. IGN gave the game a 5.0, and wrote that, "It really boils down to a game where you fly around and collect icons thrown in different parts of the levels."
- Another Alex Adventure video game for Nintendo DS which is Urban Jungle was also developed by Altron.
- This is the first Alex Adventure video game published by Disney Interactive Studios.
